Know Your Diet Based on Blood Group

The name of the disease is derived from the word “Swahili” a language spoken in East Africa which means “that which bends up” reflecting the physique of a person suffering from the disease. Chikungunya is a rare viral disease caused by a alpha virus which is spread by a kind of mosquito called Aedes Albopicticus (Tiger mosquito). Chikungunya is always accompanied by Dengue fever because the affected aedes mosquito carries the viri for both the viruses.

The disease manifests 1 to 12 after the bite of the infected mosquito. It causes high fever upto 104 degrees. There will be flu like symptoms, severe headache, chills, rash, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, muscle pain and joint pain. The disease has been classified under arthritic viruses because it causes swelling in the joints of the extremities and this swelling is painful to touch. The symptoms of chikungunya is similar to that of Dengue fever except for the hemorrhagic or shock syndrome form.

Chikungunya is a contagious disease. There is no vaccine found for the disease. It can only be treated symptomatically.

Prevention is better than cure. The best way to prevent from chikungunya is by avoiding mosquito bites. Avoid meeting and talking to persons who are recently affected by chikungunya.

Pimple Care

Skin is the largest and an important organ. While you may be protecting other organs and ignoring skin care may lead to pimples and other infections. As the pollution increases so are the skin infections. So it is necessary to take skin care for preventing pimples. Pimples are formed due to the blockage of the skin pore. So here are some tips to have ur skin healthier.

Wash the face thrice a day and apply calamine lotion to the pimples. Dont pick the pimples ever because it leaves scar.

Press ice over the swollen pimple. If you have popped a pimple, do not forget to press ice and splash some astringent.

Take out the fat from the curd and apply this curd to pimple and face and take shower after 15 minutes.

Apply a paste made of nutmeg, pepper and a little water. Apply on the pimples and allow to dry. Then wash off.

Use medicated soaps which is recommended by your doctor.

Avoid taking oily food, sweets, fries, and potatoes. Take fresh fruits and other fresh vegetables with your diet.

Don’t take more non-vegetarian. Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day.

Gently brush your tongue and the roof of your mouth using a forward-sweeping motion to remove the decay-causing bacteria that exist in these places.

You’ll need to floss between your teeth, under the gumline, or under braces to remove the plaque and particles of food. Choose the size of floss depending on the size of the space u hav between ur teeth. Using a back and forth motion carefully insert the floss between two teeth. Dont force it under the gums.
